A body can never be lean unless it’s clean. That s the first principle, and it’s toxins, which are stored in the fat cells, that you need to avoid. If you’re dieting, but toxic, your body will lose fat, but the toxins will have nowhere to go other than back into your system. I have been following the Clean and Lean system for a while now and it has changed my life. I feel sooo much better: full of energy, healthy and in good form. This book offers a great variety of recipes: they are easy but not boring at all. No excuse to eat rubbish food anymore!! It is divided in several sections: breakfast, lunch, dinner, cheats and treats and smoothies. There is everything for everyone, with a lot of variety. It provides a brief intro on the Clean and Lean system for those who are not familiar with it, an introductory 14 days detox plan and useful tips on how to stay on track.
NOTE: this is NOT a diet book. This is a healthstyle manual that will change your mindset and the way that you see (and eat) food forever. Great!! Buy also the previous Clean & Lean books for body exercises and more recipes. You will not be disappointed.

I got this book along with the Clean and Lean diet book and I’ve gotta say it’s brilliant, ive made loads of the recipes from this book and they are all easy and non time consuming and taste great, my husband was even impressed with the taste and he is totally health food phobic! I would defiantly recommend this along side clean and lean as it opens you eyes to loads of flavours and meals you otherwise may have never have come up with!

Read this first in a 4 week special in Grazia magazine and thought I’d give this a go. I was excited to get the book when it arrived and couldn’t wait to start reading it. I’ve being using the recipes for the last week and found that I’m full not hungry. I’m really enjoying the cooking as well. Shopping for food has become a great new experience as I love to source new foods that I haven’t had before such as haricot beans used in the chicken cassoulet (tastes fab too). I’m not going to weigh myself for a few weeks but I’ve already noticed my skirts are not so tight around the waist. If I loose weight it will be a bonus I just wanted to start eating better food and stop eating processed and junk food. I’m so impressed I’ve ordered James Duigan’s previous book and can’t wait for it to arrive. Good value for money if your prepared to change your eating habits.
