Living Gluten Free for Dummies By Bookworm “research addict” (UK)
I loved this book. Its very informative without being too technical. It has given me the right information and good ideas to try. I have other books that go into too much depth and have recipes that are not a typical days menu. Gluten Free for Dummies is well worth buying for personal use or as a gift for sufferers of the disease and have problems with wheat/gluten.
I would recommend it to anyone and would recommend using Amazon.
Great for beginners starting from scratch by Catherine Walsh (Ireland)
I was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance but had no idea where to start, this book gave me all the info i needed and handy tips also. Highly recommended.
Very informative By Mr. Wa Hughes “the serendipity kid” (North Wales)
Had no idea what coeliac disease was until my wife was recently diagnosed. Was mostly in the dark about what she could and could not eat, this book more than filled in any blanks and would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation.
Telling it in plain English By VioletAngel (UK)
I bought this as a present for a friend recently who’s been seriously ill with an ‘unknown”unrecognized’ stomach disorder since childhood & has finally been diagnosed as a Coeliac of October this year. (He’s now 47!)
When I read through the book as a non-sufferer it did explain pretty clearly what causes the disorder & the various things available on the specialist diet that then follows diagnosis.
My friend did say he found parts of it a little patronising almost but alot of that may’ve been due to all the prior info he’s had from doctors since a stint in hospital.
I think this book is ideal for anyone trying to get their head around things & those of us who don’t have the disorder but want to understand it & support those who do.
Great Book By Tracy
